How to Use the Imagine Lens on Snapchat

Before you try the Imagine Lens on Snapchat, make sure you have an active Snapchat Plus or Platinum subscription.

1. Open Snapchat and make sure you are on the Camera tab.
2. Now, take a photo snap like you normally do.
3. Once done, look for the AI+ (Imagine Lens) button in the right vertical toolbar, and tap it.
4. Next, Snapchat will automatically suggest a creative prompt based on your Snap. You can use that suggestion or replace it with your own idea, such as “me as an astronaut” or “a painting of my dog.”
   
5. Snapchat’s AI will process the image and transform your Snap based on your description. Image generation can take anywhere from an instant to a few seconds, depending on the complexity of your prompt.
6. Tap Done and you can now edit it, add a caption, save it to your Memories, and share it with your friends or post it to Stories.
   

Once you share your Snap or post it to Stories, recipients and viewers can reuse your prompt.
