Cookie Policy
Last updated: November 03, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how iGeeks Media Private Limited (“we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on www.igeeksblog.com (the “Site”), what they do, and how you can control them. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels (tiny images that report a page view) and scripts. “First-party” cookies are set by us. “Third-party” cookies are set by other companies, such as analytics or advertising providers, and can recognise your device across different websites. In this policy, “cookies” covers all of these technologies.
How we ask for consent
When you first visit from a region that requires it, including the European Economic Area, the UK, Switzerland and India, a banner lets you accept all, reject all or choose by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting. Non-essential cookies stay off until you agree. We store your choice for up to 12 months and then ask again, or sooner if we add new purposes.
Visitors from US states with opt-out laws see non-essential cookies by default, but can switch them off at any time through “Manage Cookies” or with a Global Privacy Control signal, which we honour automatically.
Where we use Google services, our consent tool passes your choices to Google through Google Consent Mode v2, so Google tags adjust what they collect. If Google advertising is shown to visitors in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we use a Google-certified consent platform that supports the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework.

Advertising and affiliate
Used to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance and record purchases made through our affiliate links. Used only with your consent where consent is required.
Our advertising partner AdPushup, which runs Google Ad Manager and Google AdSense together with partners such as Amazon Publisher Services, Index Exchange, Magnite, Microsoft Advertising, TripleLift, Teads, PubMatic, Sovrn, Sharethrough, OneTag and Media.net set cookies and similar identifiers to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance and prevent ad fraud. Where the law requires consent, they do so only after you agree. Google lists the advertising cookies it uses at business.safety.google/adscookies.
When you click an affiliate link (for example, to Amazon, or through Awin, CJ Affiliate or ShareASale), the retailer or network sets its own cookie on its website to credit the referral. Those cookies are governed by the retailer’s or network’s own cookie policy.
Embedded content
Articles may include videos, posts or widgets from YouTube, X, Instagram, TikTok and similar services. These services may set cookies when the embed loads. Where consent is required, we block embeds until you accept the relevant category or click to load them. Our Videos section and Videos page show YouTube thumbnails only; the YouTube player (youtube-nocookie.com) loads when you press play, and YouTube may set cookies from that point.
How to control cookies
- Manage Cookies: click “Manage Cookies” in the site footer to change or withdraw consent at any time.
- Global Privacy Control: enable GPC in a supporting browser or extension to opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising.
- Browser settings: you can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Site from working.
- Google Analytics: install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Interest-based ads: visit YourAdChoices (US), YourAdChoices.ca (Canada) or Your Online Choices (EU and UK), or adjust Google Ad Settings.
- Mobile devices: reset your advertising ID or turn off ad personalisation in your iOS or Android settings.
Notes by region
- EEA: we follow the ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR, which require consent before non-essential cookies are set. The EU’s proposed Digital Omnibus changes to cookie rules are not yet law; we will update this policy if they are adopted.
- United Kingdom: since February 5, 2026, the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 allows some low-risk cookies, including limited analytics, without prior consent. Because Google Analytics shares data with Google, we continue to ask for consent before using it.
- India: cookies that process personal data follow the consent requirements of the DPDP Act, 2023.
- United States: where advertising or analytics cookies count as a “sale”, “sharing” or “targeted advertising”, you can opt out as described above.
Changes to this policy
We review this policy when we add or remove tools, and at least once a year. The “Last updated” date shows the latest revision.
