Don’t want your limited bandwidth to fall short of your set deadline? No problem. You can easily keep a check on the cellular data usage on your Apple Watch.
You can’t view your current data usage from your Apple Watch. Just like setting up a cellular plan or changing/removing carriers, you will have to take the help of the Watch app to find out how much data you have consumed.
How to View Cellular Data Usage on Apple Watch
Step #1. Launch Watch app on your paired iPhone.
Step #2. Now, tap on My Watch tab at the bottom.
Step #3. Next, you need to tap on Cellular.
Step #4. You should see the data usage under the Cellular Data Usage section.
How to Turn On/Off Cellular on Apple Watch
You can disable cellular when it’s not in use. It would not just save battery but also help you in reducing data usage. To do so, simply swipe up from the bottom of any watch face to bring up Control Center and then tap on the Cellular button to turn it OFF/ON.
There could be many reasons like smart activity coaching or a much-improved Heart Rate app for buying Apple Watch. However, the one big reason for which I have switched onto the new smartwatch is “Cellular Support.” It’s really empowered the watch to carry out many functionalities like making a call or responding to any message without the help of the iPhone.
