  1. This article did not explain how to use QuickPath.
What about punctuation?! With SwiftKey, one simply holds down the period button until the correct punctuation appears.
With QuickPath, I can only see to double-tap the space bar for a period.

  2. I have tried most of your suggestions, but I personally use Simple. It is more easy to use and easier if I want to track time on my computer too. I would recommend it for all freelancers and self-employed like me :)

  3. Unfortunately, these tips didn’t work for me. I waited a long time to update my iPhone 6s Plus, so when I updated to iOS 13 recently, it was a BIG jump (required a phone restore via my laptop; couldn’t do the update on the phone by itself). I hadn’t updated the watch in a long time either.

After the restore, my phone was no longer paired with my watch and absolutely NOTHING will work to make it pair. I researched high and low for options (including this blog). I reset the watch as well, hoping that would work. I spent 40 min on the phone with Apple support. I went to an Apple store.

They told me it must be the logic board on the watch, which I though was complete B.S. It worked perfectly fine before my iOS update. In fact, the watch worked perfectly fine after the update — it just wasn’t connected to the phone any longer. The only thing I did to the watch was reset it, which wouldn’t damage the logic board.

I suspect it’s an incompatibility with the software on the (now reset) 1st gen watch and iOS 13. Now the watch is a brick. 😡
