To put your Apple Watch on nightstand mode, follow the method mentioned below. But make sure that your watch is running on WatchOS 2.0.


A nightstand clock can be very helpful when you suddenly wake up in the middle of the night. To check time, you would obviously fumble on the bedside table, where you put a clock.

For the last couple of months, users have fallen to the smartwatch fad. Apple Watch has an excellent feature of Nightstand Mode for users to see time while they are in bed.

Normally, a user finds nightstand mode enabled on Apple Watch. However, you should know this if you want to disable the nightstand mode in future.

Step #1. Launch Settings app on your Apple Watch.

Step #2. Tap on General.

Step #3. Swipe down and tap on Nightstand Mode.

Step #4. Toggle Nightstand Mode ON.

After enabling Nightstand Mode on your Apple Watch, you can easily transform your watch into nightstand clock is very easy.

Just connect your Apple Watch with charger; put the watch on its side with its digital crown facing up. Your watch will immediately show nightstand clock.

To activate nightstand mode, simply tap on your Apple Watch screen or hit any button. When your watch is in nightstand mode, the side button will work as a control to turn the alarm clock off and digital crown will snooze the alarm. If you want to disable the nightstand mode, just take the watch off the charger.

Note that this nightstand mode will work on WatchOS 2.0.
