When Does the Black Friday Sale 2025 Start? 

The official date for Black Friday 2025 is Friday, November 28, 2025, the day after the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday. Most major online deals begin at midnight (local time) on that day, with physical stores often opening very early (pre-dawn), offering “doorbusters.”

Best Black Friday iPhone Deals

Every year top cellular carriers come up with lucrative discounts on the newest iPhone lineup during holiday season. And this year is no exception!

Here are some of the most compelling deals for the latest iPhone 17 series and iPhone Air this Black Friday 2025:

AT&T

• For the iPhone 17 Pro: Free with an eligible trade-in.
• For the iPhone 17 Pro Max: Up to $1,100 off when you trade in an older device.

What to Be Careful Of

All the deals look extremely good at first glance but there’s some catch:

• Many of the biggest discounts (especially “free” deals) require you to trade in an older device in good condition. For example, if you trade in your iPhone 15 Pro Max with no damage, you may get a good credit.
• Some offers require you to either switch to the carrier or add a new line + sign up for a specific unlimited plan. If you don’t fulfil that, you might not get full savings.
• Deals that say “up to $1,100 off” mean that you’ll only get the maximum if you fulfil all conditions (trade-in value, unlimited plan, maybe switch carriers). The effective savings may be less.
• These are U.S. carrier-based deals. So, most devices will be locked to the carrier for two to three years.

Yes, but not in the way you might expect. Instead of offering direct price cuts, Apple has announced a Black Friday through Cyber Monday shopping event that runs from Friday, November 28 through Monday, December 1, in many countries including the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand and several European markets.

During this time, you will receive Apple Gift Cards of varying values if you buy eligible Apple products. Here’s the list of gift card values in U.S. store: 

• $250 Gift Card for 14-inch & 16-inch MacBook Pro (M4 Pro chip) and 14-inch & 16-inch MacBook Pro (M4 Max chip).
• $200 Gift Card for 15-inch MacBook Air (M4 chip).
• $175 Gift Card for 13-inch MacBook Air (M4 chip).
• $150 Gift Card for iMac.
• $100 Gift Card for Mac mini, 11-inch iPad Air, and 13-inch iPad Air models.
