Predict5 makes sports picks more meaningful. You play, compete for prizes, and every choice supports real causes. It’s a fun way to win with purpose.
If you’ve ever argued with your friends about who’s going to score more touchdowns or hit the next big shot, Predict5 takes that same energy and turns it into something that matters. This sports prediction app lets you make one pick a week and instantly puts you in the running for weekly prizes, all while supporting real causes that make an impact.
What sets Predict5 apart is that every pick you make funds social good. Whether it’s hunger relief, education, or NIL programs, every entry contributes to something bigger. It’s a refreshing twist in a world filled with fantasy leagues and betting apps that focus solely on competition.
Predict5 app is a weekly sports prediction app available on iPhone, iPad, and even Vision Pro. The idea is simple: Each week, you make one set of five player‑prop Over/Under picks (e.g., yards, points, rebounds) within the app to compete for prizes.
The app is currently available for real-money play only in California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Oklahoma, Texas, and Georgia, with a free-to-play version available across the rest of the U.S. If you live in one of the supported states, you can join real-money contests by paying a small entry fee of your choice.
Each dollar you play is split: 40% to nonprofits or NIL collectives, 40% to the prize pool, and 20% for the platform.
If you go 5-for-5, you win your share of the prize pool. Winners can decide to keep the price money, date that to the cause as well or even decide to split the price. So their tagline, Keep it, split it, donate it! fits perfectly.
Even if you don’t hit all five, your picks still count toward the monthly and seasonal leaderboards and part of your entry fees still fuels your preferred cause, so it’s a win-win.
If you’re in any other state, you can still play completely free. The free-to-play version lets you make picks, compete on leaderboards, and experience everything else in the app, just without cash rewards.
Separately, there’s also a social media campaign called #OnePickAWeek. After making your weekly picks, you can share them on social media with the hashtag #OnePickAWeek, tag @Predict5, include your school tag (like #GoBlue), and nominate two friends.
Every valid public post under this campaign triggers a $10 NIL donation to that school’s fund.
Getting started with Predict5 only takes a few minutes. Here’s a quick walkthrough to help you understand how everything works before you jump in.
Predict5 is powering the 2025 Oak Out Hunger campaign, a nationwide effort founded by Charles Oakley and Bo Grey to fight food insecurity across the U.S. For every $25 Predict5 entry, $10 goes directly toward meal programs through this initiative, with a bold goal of serving 100,000 meals in 2025.
As Oakley put it, “Every meal we serve is about more than food — it’s about hope, connection, and reminding folks they matter.”
The 2025 campaign kicks off on August 29, 2025, at the Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry in Cleveland, Ohio, where Oakley and Grey will join volunteers for a full day of community engagement, meal service, and sports-themed activities from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Attendees will get to experience Predict5’s gamified giving platform in action while supporting families in need. The event is open to the public and media, with opportunities for interviews, live coverage, and behind-the-scenes access throughout the day.
Here’s a quick look at what Predict5 does best and where there’s still room to improve. This table sums up the strengths that make it special and the areas that could be refined as the platform grows.
| What Works | What Needs Work |
|---|---|
| Purpose-built gameplay that blends competition and charity. | Limited to few states for real-money contests. |
| Simple five-pick format. It’s fast and stress-free. | Smaller prize pools since it’s still new. |
| Free-to-play option for users outside licensed states. | Could offer more transparency about total donations and impact reports. |
| Real partnerships showing visible social impact. | Long-time fantasy players might want more advanced modes later on. |
| Great design and smooth experience on iOS and Android devices. |
Predict5 might just be what fantasy sports should’ve been all along. You play for fun, for pride, and for something that matters. It’s early days, and the app will need time to grow and expand across more states, but it already feels like a glimpse of the future where sports, tech, and social good come together.
If you’ve ever wanted your game-day picks to do more than bragging rights, Predict5 is worth a download.
