Flash iPhone App: Send Your Photo As Caller ID

How to Send Your Photo As Caller ID Using Flash iPhone App

For years, a smartphone screen has been a plain monitor displaying caller’s number. And then Flash happened. This newly released app certainly changes a user experience of making and receiving calls. The full name of this app is Flash: Send Pics in Caller ID. As this name suggests, you can send your picture in caller ID. So the receiver gets to see your photo or pic as caller ID and quickly identifies the caller.

But that is not enough! Flash has more to offer. Your communication is spiced up with stickers, captions, and filters. Though there were many apps available for iPhones to show the photo as caller ID, Flash has gone extra miles by adding a new dimension of personalization.

The interface of this app is a bit complicated; you need to understand the app thoroughly before you use it. The very first condition of using this app is you have to invite your contacts to download Flash on their iPhones or Android phones. You can only show your photo as caller ID if your contact is also using Flash on his/her smartphone. This can be irritating as many users may not like the idea of using Flash on their devices.

Step #1. First off, download Flash app on your iPhone.

Five explanatory slides will run on your phone, and when you tap on Sign Up, you will be prompted to allow Flash to send notifications.

Note: When you place a call for the second time, your photo/image will not appear on the receiver’s phone. Every time you make a call, you need to Flash your image. There is a purpose behind this setting; you may not like to make a call with your image every time. This feature can be used only when you urgently need help.

For example, if you have met with an accident and injured yourself, you can make a Flash call to your family or friend to show you need help. By seeing you hurt, the receiver will quickly pick up the call even if s/he in the middle of something important.

One of my friends likes to use this app to show a beautiful gift he buys for his girlfriend, especially when she doesn’t pick up his regular calls.

Why should you use Flash?

Flash is not just another trinket for your smartphone. The app is really useful when you need quick feedback on what to purchase for yourself. When you are in a shop and want to buy something for your loved ones, you can show the options available on the rack. When they see something beautiful on their phone screen, they will take the calls instead of muting or disconnecting your calls.

Summing up…

Flash also offers you safety and security features; you can time your photos to expire automatically after delivery. This not only ensures privacy but also gives you complete control over who can see which image of yours. When someone saves your picture or take a screenshot of your photo, you get a notification.
