Step #3. Tap on Increase Contrast from the list.
Step #4. Toggle Reduce Transparency ON.
Now come back to Accessibility section; right below the Increase Contrast option, there is an option of Reduce Motion.
Step #5. Tap on Reduce Motion.
Step #6. Toggle the Reduce Motion ON.
Come out of Settings app and check the speed of your device; you will certainly notice some enhancement in the iOS 9 performance.
There is another way to boost performance of your iDevice running on iOS 9. You can disable background apps refresh option and improve the performance.
Disable Background Apps Refresh on iPhone and iPad
Step #1. Launch Settings app on your iDevice → Tap on General.
Step #2. Tap on Background App Refresh.
Step #3. Toggle the Background App Refresh OFF.
Turning this option off can also save battery life of your iDevice. This feature allows apps to refresh their content when your device is using Wi-fi or Cellular data.
Disabling Siri Suggestions is yet another option to improve the performance of your iPhone/iPad on iOS 9.
Disable Siri Suggestions on iPhone and iPad
Step #1. Open Settings app on your iDevice → Tap on General.
Step #2. Tap on Spotlight Search below the Siri.
Step #3. Toggle Siri Suggestions OFF.
Siri uses either the Wi-fi internet or your mobile data to search your suggestions, and this reduces the performance of your smartphone running on iOS 9.
Apple always takes a serious note of all such bugs and issues, and therefore, in its next version, the company introduces improvements. So, you can also wait for the launch of iOS 9.1, which is expected next month.
