After several days of circulating rumors about its release date, Slender Man has finally rolled out in Fortnite. The faceless villain has joined an illustrious lineup of antagonists from third-party IPs featured in Fortnite this Halloween season. The skin, which is part of the wider Fortnite x Slender Man collab, was officially confirmed when it first appeared in the promotional art for Fortnitemares around late September, and it landed in the Item Shop on October 22 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET.
The Slender Man skin is available in the Item Shop for 1,500 V-Bucks. It is also included in the namesake bundle, which goes for 2,000 V-Bucks (down from 2,700 V-Bucks) in the game. These cosmetics are only available to buy for a limited time. Epic hasn’t confirmed an exit date yet, but they are expected to leave by November 1, when Fortnitemares wraps up.
Players who placed high enough in the Slender Man Cup on October 20 already unlocked the outfit and back bling for free, so the Item Shop is now the only way to get them.

Popular horror characters in Fortnitemares 2026
This year’s rendition of Fortnitemares has been nothing short of exciting for players. From classic monsters to legendary Hollywood villains, we have seen a wide spectrum of bad guys emerge in the Item Shop throughout October. This list has included characters such as Frankenstein’s Monster, The Mummy, Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, and the like.
Apart from Slender Man, Nikki from Obsession is another character that Fortnite has added as a skin, and she delivers a strong level of creepiness. Given that antagonists from yesteryear and the modern day are both part of this Halloween-themed event, it’s fair to say players have had a good range of choices for the Fortnitemares experience.
