It’s fair to say that Obsession is the internet’s favorite horror movie of 2026, which is why it’s no surprise that Fortnite players are wondering whether Epic Games is planning a crossover soon.
After all, we’ve seen Fortnite team up with all kinds of major franchises under the sun, such as Marvel, DC, Jujutsu Kaisen, John Wick, Cyberpunk 2077, and many more. So, a collaboration with one of 2026’s biggest horror hits wouldn’t exactly come as a shock. So, if you’re wondering whether Obsession is coming to Fortnite, here’s everything we know so far.
Is an Obsession crossover coming to Fortnite?
Well, without wasting your time, it’s true: Obsession is coming to Fortnite! Recently, Epic Games dropped a cinematic trailer for the upcoming Fortnitemares. For the unfamiliar, Fortnitemares is Fortnite’s annual Halloween celebration, bringing spooky game modes, ke skins, crossovers, and a variety of other cosmetics to the game.
At the 0:44 mark in the trailer, you can spot One Wish Willow. Without spoiling the movie for anyone who hasn’t watched it yet, the Willow is one of the most crucial parts of the obsession. Its appearance in the trailer basically confirms that a Fortnite x Obsession crossover is on the way.
Epic Games hasn’t exactly revealed when the crossover will arrive in Fortnite. However, it’s worth noting that Fortnitemares begins on October 1, 2026, at 3 AM PT. So players shouldn’t have to wait long to see what Epic Games has in store.
As for the cosmetics, that’s another unknown as of now. The developer hasn’t revealed what sort of cosmetics will be brought to the table, but it’s likely that a Nikki outfit will be an addition. She’s the movie’s main character, and would make the most sense as an outfit if Epic wants to add an Obsession skin. Other than that, we might also see Obsession-themed pickaxes, back blings, loading screens, and other cosmetics.
