One of Cyberpunk Edgerunners’ memorable characters, Lucy, has joined the lineup of Fortnite skins. This comes as part of the online multiplayer game’s season-long collab with the Cyberpunk 2077 IP, of which Edgerunners is a spin-off anime adaptation.
The Lucy skin, as well as the other Cyberpunk Edgerunners-inspired cosmetics, is only available in the Fortnite Item Shop until September 26 by 5 PM PT or 8 PM ET. It is priced at 1,500 V-Bucks and is also available as part of the Cyberpunk Edgerunners Bundle, which is selling for 2,300 V-Bucks.
Steps to get the Lucy skin in Fortnite
- In Fortnite, go to the Shop tab
- Then, scroll to the “Cyberpunk Edgerunners” section and select the Lucyna Kushinada skin
- Finally, press and hold the Purchase button to confirm your decision.
With the purchase of the Lucy skin, you will also get the Rebecca Plushie back bling for free. By the way, the latter can also be bought individually from the in-game store.
All Cyberpunk Edgerunners and Cyberpunk 2077 cosmetics in Fortnite
At the time of writing, items themed around both Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime and the Cyberpunk 2077 game are up for grabs in the Item Shop. The ongoing promo, headlined by the Lucy skin, isn’t the only collaboration between Fortnite and CDPR’s Cyberpunk franchise. There are also other influences of the dystopian IP that can be seen in the game.
Since last week’s update, you can bump into Adam Smasher within the Battle Royale map. On top of that, there is also a new Mythic weapon that comes from the Cyberpunk Edgerunners series, which is called Rebecca’s Guns.
With a second season of Cyberpunk Edgerunners in the pipeline for October, it may be safe to assume cosmetics themed around the show will also make their way into Epic’s live-service game. However, it will be interesting to see which main characters among Weak Kingsley, D, Roman Carax, and Talia Yang are rolled out as part of this anticipated Fortnite collab.
