The Mummy, Frankenstein’s Monster, and Frankenstein’s Bride from the Universal Monsters franchise are back in Fortnite. The three skins first arrived in October 2021 and were last sold in the Item Shop in November 2022. That makes this return their first in nearly four years, timed for the ongoing Halloween event, Fortnitemares 2026.
Each skin costs 1,200 V-Bucks. The Mummy and Frankenstein’s Monster each come with a free back bling, while Frankenstein’s Bride is sold on her own. The Mummy is also part of the Mummy Bundle for 1,600 V-Bucks.
At the time of writing, the Universal Monsters cosmetics are listed in the Item Shop until October 16, 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET. If you’ve waited years for one of these classic monsters, use the steps below before they rotate out.

Wrapping up
Throughout Fortnite Override, recognizable IPs have brought both cosmetics and gameplay content into the game. For Halloween, that run has turned to horror. Five Nights at Freddy’s opened Fortnitemares on October 1, followed by Freddy Krueger and 99 Nights in the Forest.
With Chapter 7 Season 4 expected to wrap up around October 31, Epic has roughly two weeks left for more Halloween drops. Fortnitemares is in full swing, so more horror franchises could still join Fortnite’s long list of collabs before the month ends.
