The Jack-O’-Cat sidekick is a cat-like companion that has made its way into Fortnite. Its central theme is Halloween, and it is inspired by the Sugar skin, which is also currently available in the Item Shop.
As part of the Fortnitemares lineup of cosmetics, the Jack-O’-Cat sidekick is up for grabs for 1,200 V-Bucks until October 27 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET. Even though it has an obvious link to the Sugar skin, it is surprisingly not included in the Sugar Bundle, which costs 1,600 V-Bucks. Keep reading to find out how you can claim the sidekick in the game.
Steps to get the Jack-O’-Cat sidekick in Fortnite

Wrapping up
Jack-O’-Cat is yet another Halloween-appropriate sidekick introduced by Fortnite this spooky season. Before this, the devs released Rowena Rabbit and The Knight as sidekicks for eager players. Apart from these, the usual sidekicks that are more cute than spooky, such as Jimothy, have also been rolled out.
While the Jack-O’-Cat sidekick is a fun cosmetic to equip on its own, for those who also own the Sugar skin, this sidekick more or less completes the look. It will be interesting to see if Jack-O’-Cat can rival other noteworthy sidekick arrivals from earlier in October, especially the Hollow Knight collab sidekick, in terms of popularity.
