If I were buying the iPhone Duo on launch day and wanted the least amount of compatibility guesswork, I’d start with Apple’s own accessories.

This is the one thing I’d keep in mind before ordering anything for the iPhone Duo.
Just because an accessory says MagSafe compatible doesn’t automatically mean it’s a good fit for the iPhone Duo. The Duo has a completely different physical design, including a hinge and a folding mechanism, so magnetic alignment and clearance matter more. Many of my existing MagSafe accessories simply hang out of the phone as they are larger.
I’d specifically look for iPhone Duo compatibility before buying a case, wallet, charger, or car mount. You should also check whether the accessory works with the phone both folded and unfolded, if that’s relevant to how you plan to use it.
Final verdict: What I’d actually buy
If I were buying the iPhone Duo on launch day, I wouldn’t go for building an expensive accessory setup right away.
My setup will include Spigen Slim Armour Pro for protection, Spigen GlasTR for the screen, Anker 715 Charger for wired charging, and the ESR 3-in-1 wireless charger for my desk or bedside table.
For travel, I’d add the TORRAS PearlGo power bank and the ESR MagSafe car mount. That gives me everything I’d realistically need without filling my bag with accessories that rarely get used.
