The popular dark comedy animation Hazbin Hotel has been confirmed for Fortnite, as part of the horror-themed Fortnitemares event. This collaboration was revealed via the gameplay trailer for the event, which also depicted various other IPs that are collaborating with Epic’s acclaimed online multiplayer title this month.
The forthcoming Hazbin Hotel crossover marks the first time its characters will be coming to Fortnite. Besides this Adult Swim series, several major brands with a similar dark vibe, such as Five Nights at Freddy’s and Nightmare on Elm Street, are also headed to the game for Fortnitemares.
Below, you can find all the skins and release window information about Hazbin Hotel that has surfaced as of yet. As more time elapses and the collab is unveiled fully, the current lineup can change to include more cosmetics and themed items.
Fortnite x Hazbin Hotel skins revealed so far
Through a recent Fortnitemares video, Fortnite gave players their first look at Charlie Morningstar, Vaggie, and Alastor skins. While Charlie is the central protagonist of Hazbin Hotel, Vaggie and Alastor are key characters as well in the story.
In the brief clip, the three characters can be seen standing in formation in a hotel interior. Interestingly, Charlie is then also shown—for a split second—as having transformed into a more sinister form with deer antlers and an eerie green glow, which could be the reactive style associated with her Fortnite skin.
The addition of the Netflix animated series’ notable trio is a considerable boost to Fortnite’s ever-diversifying skins catalog, which has over the years expanded to include real-life celebs, fan-favorite fictional characters, and everything in between.
When is Hazbin Hotel coming to Fortnite?
After kicking off on October 1, Fortnitemares is scheduled to run through the entirety of the month. And since the Hazbin Hotel crossover cosmetics are something being advertised for the month-long Halloween-themed event, you can naturally expect the skins to land in Fortnite at least a few days before October 31, if not sooner.
Apart from the obvious, it is worth keeping in mind that Fortnite has already revealed the collabs coming to the Item Shop through October 8. So, it makes sense to assume the Hazbin Hotel crossover will come at some point after that date. Beyond these educated guesses, any other prediction should be seen as merely speculative.
Rounding up
After the FNAF hype over the past few days, fans are now increasingly drawn towards the impending arrival of Hazbin Hotel in Fortnite. But that might just be the tip of the iceberg, as more players voice their interest in learning more about other highly popular IPs, such as the 2025 mega hit Obsession, that are set to get themed cosmetics of their own in the game.
All in all, Fortnitemares 2026 seems to be packing plenty for Fortnite players to dig their teeth into. Other than skins, over the course of the event, it will be interesting all the ways that the game fuses major features such as sprites and match overrides with the event’s spooky theme and how well the players receive it.
