Fortnite Override and Fortnitemares 2026 have entered their final stretch. As a result, the devs have decided to give players one final push to complete their sprite collection through a series of boosted days, known together as The Final Spritemare, during which the spawn rates of certain sprites will go up.

The event runs from October 27 to October 31, 2026, with daily changes starting at 9 AM ET (6:30 PM IST). Across the five days, players can earn double Sprite XP and Sprite Dust, claim a Lucky Locator through a daily login quest, and find additional loot in chests.

With 162 Fortnite sprite entries released throughout the season, including variants, this is a valuable opportunity for completionists to fill the remaining gaps in their collections before the next Fortnite season begins.

The daily boosts begin at 9 AM ET / 1 PM UTC and run until the following day’s changeover.

In addition to these benefits, on the final two days of the season, you will also get a few freebies and a couple other gameplay boosts. First off, those logging in on October 30 can claim the Calaverita Sprays and an emoticon for free.

Secondly, those playing the game on October 31 are certain to find the Hunter Scavenger, Prop Hunt, and Spooky Sprinter overrides in Fortnite’s Override Consoles during their matches. Moreover, the total number of Pumpkin Chests will also be aped up on this day, further helping players grow their collection.

The Final Spritemare: Daily login rewards and boosts

Besides the rotating daily changes, The Final Spritemare includes several bonuses that remain active throughout the event. These rewards and boosts make it easier to find, collect, and master Sprites before the season ends.

Here’s what you can expect:

  1. Double Sprite XP: Earn twice the usual Sprite XP to help level up your collected Sprites.
  2. Double Sprite Dust: Collect twice the usual Sprite Dust during the event.
  3. Daily Lucky Locator: Complete the daily login quest to earn a Lucky Locator. You can claim one on each of the five event days.
  4. Extra chest loot: 1-Up Tokens and Portable Extractors may appear in chests.

These bonuses are especially useful if you’re still working toward completing your Sprite collection. The double XP and Sprite Dust boosts also help you progress toward Sprite Mastery, while Lucky Locators can help you track down Sprites you haven’t discovered yet.

If you’re missing specific variants, make the most of the daily boosts instead of relying entirely on random encounters. For example, focus on Gold and Cheat Master Sprites on October 27, Loot Hacker on October 28, Bounty Hunter on October 29, and Trick or Treat on October 30.

The event’s double Sprite XP and Sprite Dust bonuses also reduce the grind involved in progressing through Sprite Mastery. This can be particularly helpful for special variants, including Quack Sprites, which have their own collection and mastery requirements.

Countdown to Fortnite Treasure Hunters

Fortnite Treasure Hunters

As Fortnite Override draws to a close, the next seasonal experience is approaching. Epic Games has teased Fortnite Treasure Hunters, a new One Piece-themed mini-season scheduled to begin on November 1, 2026.

One of the biggest teasers so far is a giant treasure chest that players can find in Fortnite Battle Royale. The chest has also attracted attention for the music that plays nearby. You can read more about it in our guide to the One Piece chest location in Fortnite.

Override has focused heavily on gaming franchises, weapons, Match Overrides, and collectible Sprites. Treasure Hunters is set to shift the spotlight toward the popular One Piece anime and its pirate-adventure theme.

With the current season nearing its end, The Final Spritemare gives players one last chance to work on their Sprite collections while enjoying the event’s boosted rewards. If you’ve been putting off Sprite Mastery, use the remaining days wisely before Fortnite moves on to its next chapter.
