Fortnite OG Season 9: All confirmed skins, map changes, weapons, and release date

Fortnite OG is heading into Season 9, bringing back a wave of nostalgic content inspired by one of the game’s most memorable eras. Epic Games recently shared a teaser image showcasing some of the content arriving in the upcoming update, giving fans an early look at what to expect.

Among the items revealed are new skins, event-related unlockables, map updates, and more. Below is a compiled list of everything featured in Fortnite OG Season 9, as announced on the official Fortnite social media accounts.

All confirmed skins in Fortnite OG Season 9

Among the original Season 9 characters returning in the new OG mode update are Rox, The Devourer, and Demi. However, only Rox and Demi were playable characters during that season, whereas The Devourer was mainly featured in the storyline. The latter only became a playable character when Chapter 2 Season 1 came out. As a result, while the inclusion of Demi has been received very positively, The Devourer has been a point of contention so far among Fortnite enthusiasts.

Fortnite OG Season 9 release date and downtime

The Season 9 update for Fortnite OG mode is set to become available starting on June 25. Prior to the new content being rolled out, a server downtime is expected to take place in the very early morning hours. The downtime is expected to last approximately three hours before the update becomes available across all platforms.

Wrapping up

The return of Season 9’s characters, particularly Rox and Demi, should provide a healthy dose of nostalgia for longtime Fortnite players. The return of Neo Tilted, Mega Mall, and Pressure Plant further strengthens that throwback appeal.

At the same time, the update isn’t relying on nostalgia alone. Returning weapons, event rewards, and additional content help make Season 9 feel like more than just a replay of the original experience.

June 25 is also expected to bring additional sprite content to Fortnite, making it an especially busy day for players across both OG mode and the main game.

For fans who remember the original Season 9, this update is shaping up to be one of the most exciting Fortnite OG releases yet.
