Apple placed five devices in the top 10. In addition to the iPhone 17 lineup, the iPhone 16 ranked fourth, while the iPhone 16e secured the eighth spot. Notably, the iPhone Air did not make the list.

Samsung followed with four entries, including the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, Galaxy A07, and its flagship Galaxy S25. Xiaomi rounded out the list with the Redmi A5 at ninth place.

Counterpoint noted that the top 10 smartphones accounted for 23% of global smartphone sales in Q4 2025. The iPhone 17 Pro Max alone contributed 5%, highlighting its strong demand.

Apple also maintained consistent performance throughout the year, frequently occupying the top three positions. The iPhone 16 stood out as the only device to appear in the top 10 across all four quarters, leading in most periods except the final quarter.
