Fortnite’s community-developed maps might not be backed by the game dev wizards at Epic Games, but many of them are no slouch when it comes to drawing the attention of players. However, if you still haven’t explored the unofficial maps in Fortnite, the Safety in Numbers lineup of quests might just be the perfect excuse to change that, and to bring a friend along for the ride.

The Safety in Numbers quests in Fortnite require players to jump into Horror Creator-made Islands or maps with at least one friend in their party and earn XP doing various activities in them. This XP counts toward certain milestones, and completing them makes you eligible for a total of 5 different Safety in Numbers rewards. The quests are available until November 12, 2026, at 6 AM ET (3 AM PT), so you have a little over two weeks left to grind them.

Speaking of Horror Creator-made Islands, which is another name for community-made horror games in Fortnite, let’s check out how you can load them in Fortnite before we get to the Safety in Numbers quest and reward checklist.
