Bonnie the Rabbit, one of the most popular characters from Five Nights at Freddy’s, has arrived in Fortnite Override as both an in-game boss and a playable skin. Other FNAF animatronics, including Freddy, Chica, and Roxy, have also joined the game as part of the crossover.
Unlike Freddy and Roxy, Bonnie is one of two bosses, alongside Chica, who doesn’t appear at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria on the Fortnite map. Instead, Bonnie can randomly spawn at several locations across the island. Here’s where you should look.
FNAF Bonnie boss fight locations in Fortnite
Bonnie the Rabbit can spawn at several Fortnite map locations. However, his spawn is randomized each match, so you’re not guaranteed to find him at a particular POI.
If Bonnie isn’t at your chosen location, you may need to check another spawn point or try again in a new match.
Chopped Shop: Head to the largest building in the northwestern part of the area. Bonnie can spawn inside or around this building.
Golden Grove: There are two possible Bonnie spawn locations here. The first is near the car wash in the southwestern part of the area, while the second is close to the large building on the eastern side.
Lifty Lodge: Search the buildings in the northeastern section of the neighborhood to find Bonnie the Rabbit.
Shaken Sanctuary: Bonnie can also spawn around the structure in the northwestern section of Shaken Sanctuary.
Since Bonnie can appear at different locations in each match, it’s worth choosing a landing spot where you can quickly loot weapons before checking his spawn point.
How to defeat FNAF Bonnie in Fortnite
Truthfully, searching for Bonnie is more difficult than the actual boss fight with the awe-inspiring animatronic. When you find him at a spawn point, he won’t attack until you close in the distance. Once you do that, he will only stalk you on foot and not do any swift maneuvers like certain other bosses, such as Adam Smasher, do. So, you can conveniently retreat when required in the middle of a fight.
Moreover, Bonnie will only attack you with a pickaxe and nothing else, so the damage dealt by him is also not too bad. On the other hand, taking Bonnie down isn’t a big assignment either, as you can do that with something as easily obtainable as an Uncommon-tier 8-Bit Shotgun.
Successfully defeating Bonnie the Rabbit unlocks three different major rewards. Firstly, you get a Mythic-tier High Stakes’ Shotgun and a Legendary Chug Jug. Alongside that, you also get the option of playing as the defeated boss himself by using the “Possess” option.
This way you can not just trial run the Bonnie skin, which is available on the Item Shop at the time of writing, but can also earn something of a one-up life. That’s because, if you are downed while Bonnie is in your possession, you will respawn as your original character with some health and all your weapons intact.
Wrapping up
Based on the fact that FNAF boss fights, including the one versus Bonnie, are easy to beat and that their rewards are very effective, it would be a smart decision to complete this encounter in the early stages of a Fortnite match, so that you can maximize the use of the valuable loot in the most important circumstances later. You may even do it in as many matches as you want.
After Fortnite bosses from Pac-Man, Sonic The Hedgehog, Cyberpunk 2077, and FNAF landing in the online title, it will be interesting to see which other video game characters are enrolled into the season as an adversary next. With under four weeks left in Fortnite Override, it’s safe to say that we will find out more on that front in the near future.
