The iPhone 18 Pro’s new Burgundy finish has a very different personality from the brighter colors Apple has used before. It sits somewhere between deep wine red, cherry, plum and near black, making it surprisingly easy to pair with a dramatic wallpaper.
I wanted something beyond simply matching the phone’s color. So, I put together this Burgundy-focused wallpaper collection with 10 different moods. Explore the collection and download your favorite deep Burgundy aesthetic for free.

My favorite thing about this collection is that some are minimal and luxurious, while others are intentionally dramatic. Tap the Download link below each wallpaper to save the full-resolution image.
1. Burgundy Liquid Glass
This is the wallpaper I’d choose if I wanted my Burgundy iPhone to look unmistakably premium.
It uses flowing, glossy surfaces in deep burgundy and almost-black shades, creating the illusion of polished glass moving across the screen. If you like the official iPhone 18 Pro wallpapers with Apple’s Liquid Glass aesthetic, get this one.
2. Burgundy marble surface
Instead of glossy 3D shapes, this wallpaper uses a black marble surface threaded with deep Burgundy-red veins and subtle metallic highlights.
I particularly like how much of the image remains nearly black. The Burgundy sections add just enough color to connect it visually with the iPhone finish without looking overly flashy.
3. Burgundy shadow with a crown in the dark
If I wanted my Lock Screen to have a mysterious, royal feel, this would be one of my first choices.
A deep Burgundy wall catches a dramatic beam of light while the shadow of a crown stretches across the background. A glossy dark-red sphere sits on a black marble pedestal in the foreground. A great theatrical composition!
4. Burgundy abstract 3D wallpaper
This wallpaper is all about abstract curves, looking similar to the official iOS 27 wallpaper. Smooth Burgundy surfaces fold over one another against a nearly black background, with thin highlights tracing the edges.
On the iPhone screen, the combination of black negative space and saturated red highlights gives the wallpaper a particularly dramatic look.
5. Burgundy architecture that feels like an Apple Store from the future
Here’s a symmetrical, monumental structure that rises from a reflective black-and-Burgundy floor, surrounded by towering dark walls and subtle red illumination.
The symmetry is what makes it memorable. Your eye naturally travels toward the central doorway, giving the wallpaper a strong sense of depth.
6. Burgundy butterfly to turn your Lock Screen into art
The Burgundy butterfly wallpaper adds something softer to the collection without abandoning the dark aesthetic.
The butterfly’s wings combine deep crimson, burgundy and black, with the fine wing details picked out by subtle highlights. It brings a little nature into an otherwise very futuristic collection.

7. Burgundy chrome reflection
If the other wallpapers feel elaborate, this one deliberately keeps things simple.
A single glossy Burgundy sphere floats against a pure-black background, with a subtle reflection beneath it. The large areas of empty black space give your screen a minimalist look.
8. Burgundy planet from a dark little universe
A textured Burgundy-red planet sits almost alone in a huge black expanse, surrounded by tiny points of light. I particularly like how the wallpaper doesn’t try to fill the screen. The emptiness is part of the cinematic space design.
9. Burgundy rose wallpaper for iPhone
The Burgundy Rose is the most classic design here, but the dark lighting keeps it from looking like a traditional flower wallpaper.
The rose is photographed against an almost-black Burgundy background, with tiny water droplets catching the light across the petals. It’s romantic without being overly bright or colorful.
10. Burgundy smoke background
The final wallpaper is the most fluid of the collection. Wisps of translucent Burgundy and crimson smoke twist and curl through an almost completely black background.
Unlike the hard edges of the Liquid Glass and Chrome designs, this one feels soft and atmospheric.

Final thoughts
Burgundy gives the iPhone 18 Pro a bold, luxurious personality, and the right wallpaper can make that finish stand out even more. From glossy Liquid Glass and dark marble to the rose, butterfly, planet, and smoky designs, each wallpaper brings a different mood to the Lock Screen.
I’d personally switch between them depending on my mood. Some days I’d want something minimal, while other days I’d go for a more dramatic look.
So, which Burgundy wallpaper would you pick for your iPhone?
