Apple tops Interbrand’s 2025 Best Global Brands list for the 13th year, valued at $470.9 billion, as Nvidia and Instagram see record gains.
Apple has once again claimed the top spot in Interbrand’s 2025 Best Global Brands ranking, marking its 13th consecutive year as the world’s most valuable brand. The Cupertino tech giant has achieved an estimated brand value of $470.9 billion.
The annual Interbrand ranking evaluates the top 100 global companies based on three key factors:
Collectively, the top 100 brands grew 4.4% year over year, reaching a combined value of $3.6 trillion.
Although Apple’s current valuation represents a 4% decline from last year, it still leads by a wide margin over second-place Microsoft, which rose 10% to $388.5 billion. Amazon, Google, and Samsung are the other three brands in the top five, with brand values of $319.9 billion, $317.1 billion, and $90.5 billion, respectively.
Apple first entered the Interbrand top 25 ranking in 2008 and rose to number one by 2013. The company has since held the crown through more than a decade of rapid technological shifts.
While the rankings of most brands remain largely unchanged, Nvidia, the AI chipmaker, saw a 116% increase in brand value, soaring from 36th to 15th place with a valuation of $43.2 billion. Interbrand notes this is the largest single-year gain in the ranking’s history.
Meta-owned Instagram has entered the top 10 for the first time, after a 27% rise in brand value. Meanwhile, Nike slipped from 14th to 23rd following a 26% drop, and Tesla fell 13 positions to 25th after its brand value declined by 35%.
