Keeping track of multiple conversations in a WhatsApp group is about to get a whole lot easier for iPhone users. WhatsApp is currently testing two major features aimed at enhancing both communication clarity and visual customization, starting with iOS.
According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is working on a threaded reply view feature for group chats. Taking cues from Slack and iMessage’s clean structure, this new feature is designed to make it easier to follow conversations and replies in busy group chats.

This means you won’t need to scroll endlessly through a chat to figure out which message someone is responding to. Instead, all related replies are neatly grouped together in a contextual format, just like Slack.
Beyond group chat improvements, WhatsApp is also diving into personalization. iPhone users will soon be able to create and apply custom Meta AI-generated wallpapers for their chats, according to WABetaInfo.
By using simple text prompts like “A llama on a balloon” or “Futuristic neon skyline,” users can generate unique and imaginative chat backgrounds tailored to their personal style.
