Often miss out an important call from your clients or loved ones while your iPhone is busy? It’s not just you as many of us have been in such a situation at some time or the other. The good thing is that there is a smart way to deal with it.
Take advantage of unconditional call forwarding on your iPhone to divert calls to your other smartphone, tablet or even landline phone whenever you can’t answer calls or your device is unreachable. It’s pretty simple and quite easy to get started.
However, unlike “Call Forwarding” which diverts all the calls, the option to forward calls on a conditional basis like when busy, unanswered or unreachable is slightly hidden on iPhone. Besides, you’ve to enable this handy feature using codes. Anyway, let’s get going!
How to Setup Conditional Call Forwarding on iPhone
- Activate Conditional Call Forwarding When iPhone is Busy
- Divert Call When iPhone is Left Unanswered
- Activate Call Forwarding When Your iPhone is Unreachable
Activate Conditional Call Forwarding When iPhone is Busy
Step #1. Open Phone app on your iPhone and hit Keypad tab at the bottom.
Step #2. Now, you need to enter the following code:
*67*Enter Phone Number#. (For instance, if your phone number is1234567890, enter *67*1234567890#)
Then, hit the dial button. Now, wait for some time. You will get the confirmation that it’s been activated.
That’s it! From now onwards, the calls will be forwarded to the chosen number whenever your device is busy.
Later, if you wish to deactivate the conditional forwarding if busy, all you need to do is just dial – #67#.
Divert Call When iPhone is Left Unanswered
Step #1. Launch the Phone app and tap on the Keypad tab.
Step #2. Now, you have to enter *61* followed by your phone number #(For instance, if your phone number is 1234567890, enter *61*1234567890#). Then, you need to wait for some time until the confirmation shows up.
Going forward, the calls will be automatically diverted to the selected number whenever the calls are not answered on your device.
Again, if you ever want to deactivate this call forwarding option when unanswered, all you have to do is just dial #61#.
Activate Call Forwarding When Your iPhone is Unreachable
Step #1. Open the Phone app and hit the Keypad tab at the bottom.
Step #2. Now, enter *62* followed by the phone number# (For instance, if your phone number is 1234567890, enter *62*1234567890#). Then, hit the call button.
From now onwards, calls will be automatically diverted to the assigned phone number whenever your device is unreachable.
Later, if you happen to deactivate call forwarding if your device is unreachable, head over to the keypad again and dial #62#.
That’s pretty much it!
