How to Use Apple Music on Xbox One

How to Set up AirServer on Xbox One

Setting up AirServer on Xbox One is pretty easy, as you don’t require dealing with accounts or passwords. The app is available for free trial. You can get the full version of the app at $19.99 via the Microsoft Store.

Step #1. First off, head over to Store tab on your Xbox One app and select the Search tile.

Step #2. Now, you need to type AirServer using the on-screen keyboard and then choose AirServer Xbox Edition.

Step #3. Next, you need to choose Free trial to use the unrestricted version of the app for free.

Then, select Launch to open AirServer on your Xbox One.

Step #4. Next, hit right on the directional pad and then press A to display an on-screen QR code.

Once you have completed all the above steps, switch to your iOS device to complete the setup process.

How to Set up AirServer Connect on iPhone and iPad

Setting up AirServer Connect is a breeze. All you have to do is get the app from App Store and then scan the QR code using your device camera.

Step #1. Launch App Store on your iOS device and search AirServer Connect.

Step #2. Next, install AirServer Connect on your device.

Step #3. After the installation, open AirServer Connect and choose Scan QR Code.

Then, you have to allow camera access.

Step #4. Next up, scan the QR Code on the Xbox One app.

That’s done! You can now stream music to Xbox One.

How to Stream Apple Music on Xbox One Using AirServer Connect

Once you have successfully connected your Xbox One and iOS device via AirServer, you will be able to play Apple Music tracks through your console.

And with support for background audio, the Xbox One’s feature that allows music to play while gaming, you won’t need to leave AirServer running to enjoy your music.

Step #1. Launch Music app on your iOS device and song to play.

Step #2. Now, you have to press the AirPlay icon at the bottom of the playback screen.

Step #3. Next, you need to select XboxOne 1080p 30.

Now, Apple Music will start streaming to your Xbox One.

You can also control audio playback like volume controls and track selection from your iPhone.

You will be able to use Xbox One’s background audio controls on the Guide menu to play, pause, skip and volume levels with ease.

How to Stream Apple Music to Xbox One from iPhone and iPad using MusicFlow

There is another app called MusicFlow that allows you to play Apple Music on Xbox One with ease. It’s priced at $2.99. It requires iOS 9.3 or later.

Step #1. Once you have installed MusicFlow on your iOS device, launch it.

Step #2. Now, start playing music with your favorite music apps like Apple Music, Spotify, or Pandora.

Step #3. Next, open the MusicFlow app. Now, bring up

Control Center. Simply swipe up from the bottom of the screen.

Note: On your iPhone X, you have to swipe down from the top right corner.

Next up, press and hold the Music widget and then tap on AirPlay button.

Step #4. Up next, you have to choose Xbox One from the list of AirPlay devices.

That’s done! Now, go ahead and make the most of your gaming.
