Reset Keyboard Dictionary

Resetting keyboard dictionary is another method to troubleshoot emoji predictions issue.

Step #1. Tap on SettingsGeneralReset.

Step #2. Tap on Reset Keyboard Dictionary → Enter iPhone PasscodeConfirm.

You will be prompted to enter your iPhone’s passcode. Enter the passcode and then, a pop-up swipes from the bottom of the phone screen, asking you to Reset Dictionary.

Note that the action will delete all custom words you have typed on the keyboard, returning the keyboard dictionary to factory defaults.

Software Update

With every software update, Apple fixes many bugs. Your predictive emoji keyboard may have some bugs, and therefore, it is not working. In this situation, you can simply update your iOS software.

Tap on Settings → General → Software Update → Download and Install.
