How to Hide the Hidden Photos Album in iOS 14
In iOS 13 and earlier, all hidden photos were grouped in an album titled ‘Hidden.’ This was useful only to an extent. But in iOS 14, now you can sneak even this hidden album, which makes things much more covert. Here’s how!
- Select the photos you want to hide and tap on the Share icon (same as steps 1 to 3 above).
- From the Share Sheet, tap on ‘Hide‘ and confirm.
- Now, open the Settings app on your iPhone and tap on Photos.
- Ensure that the toggle for Hidden Album is off.
Now, under ‘Utilities,’ you won’t see an album titled ‘Hidden.’
However, this album will still be visible if you are in image picker in other apps like WhatsApp, iMessage, etc. To prevent unwanted access, you can learn how to lock apps on iPhone.
To see the hidden album again in the Photos app: Launch the Settings app → Photos → Turn ON the toggle for Hidden Album.

Having a third-party app to store your personal and confidential images and videos can be risky, thus it is better to store them and hide them in the hidden folder of your stock Photos App on iPhone. I want to know whether you guys hide your images and videos on the Photos App or prefer using a third-party app to do the same. Let me know that in the comments below.
