With developers having the extension of the stock phone app, we have several options to keep those unwanted calls away. Truecaller is one of the finest phone apps to identify and block spammers. It can also find out whether a call has been reported as spam or is a well-known business. Let’s see how it works! Hence, you won’t miss important calls.

That’s it! From now, whenever any call will come, the app will automatically identify whether it is from the spammer or a reputed business.

There are some other apps like Hiya which can also be very helpful in letting you completely avoid the calls from scammers.

According to Truecaller, about 20 million US customers lose $7.4B due to spam calls annually. In India, mobile users receive more than 300 million scam calls monthly. In the wake of such a massive threat of spamming, it pays to be extra cautious.

There is yet another important feature in the Phone app called “Announce Calls” When activated, it makes the iPhone speak the name of the caller if it is in the contact list. In case the number is not included in your contact list, it tells that it’s an unknown number.
