Halloween has consistently been a major time of the year in Fortnite, for which the game has often had some curated content on offer. The month-long Fortnitemares event is one such effort in celebrating the spooky October occasion.
And then there is also the cascade of Halloween-themed cosmetics and collabs, such as the Dante Bundle inspired by the 2017 animated film Coco, that get dropped throughout this period. The Dante Bundle, which features the canine sidekick Dante and the flamboyant Coco Guitar, are currently available as part of the Día de los Muertos promotion.
While the combo itself is available for 1,800 V-Bucks, Dante and Coco Guitar individually are priced at 1,500 V-Bucks and 800 V-Bucks, respectively. Importantly, all the Día de los Muertos items are up for grabs only for a limited time and will exit the Item Shop on November 7, 5 PM PT or 8 PM ET. So, those looking to nab these cosmetics must do so before Saturday evening.
How to get the Dante Bundle in Fortnite
- In Fortnite, navigate to the Shop tab.
- Next, scroll all the way down to the Día de los Muertos section and select the Dante Bundle.
- At last, press and hold the Purchase button to complete your transaction.
Where can you use Dante?
Dante and any other sidekicks can be used in several official Fortnite modes, including Battle Royale, Save the World, LEGO Fortnite and Fortnite Festival. Besides them, this Item Shop purchase can also be used in third-party maps, depending on if the developer has enabled this option for the players or not.
It is also worth keeping in mind that Fortnite sidekicks like Dante only act as a visual enhancement and have no real gameplay impact. A sidekick can react to its environment and can also emote, but it can’t help you locate enemies, nor can it expose your own location on the map to them.
All Día de los Muertos items in Fortnite
For clarity reasons, it’s important to highlight that there are two items named Dante in this section in the Item Shop. On one hand, there is Dante the sidekick and, on the other hand, there is Dante the player character skin.
Apart from the Dante Bundle, Rememberance Salvador (headlined by the Rememberance Salvador skin) and Rest In Peace (headlined by the Salvador skin) bundles are also there. They are worth 1,100 V-Bucks and 1,800 V-Bucks, respectively. Moreover, there is no bundle that contains all of the Día de los Muertos cosmetics, which are listed in their entirety below.

Wrapping up
Fortnite has featured several collaborations based on live-action horror franchises, making the Coco crossover a refreshing change. The Dante Bundle brings a more colorful, animated style to the game.
Players who enjoyed Fortnite’s collaborations with Disney and Pixar properties, such as Toy Story, The Incredibles, and The Nightmare Before Christmas, may find this crossover just as appealing.
