WhatsApp is rolling out a new feature that lets users share songs from Apple Music and Spotify directly to their WhatsApp Status. The update arrives alongside several other improvements, including direct account sign-ups on iPad, an enhanced CarPlay experience, and Adobe Acrobat integration for PDFs on desktop and web.

Sharing music to WhatsApp Status no longer requires copying and pasting links.
Users can now share songs directly from Apple Music or Spotify to their Status, making it easier to show friends what they’re currently listening to. According to WhatsApp, the feature is designed to give users a more seamless way to share their favorite music with friends and followers.
The feature has been in development for several months. References to Apple Music support first surfaced during testing late last year, and WhatsApp has now officially confirmed that the feature is rolling out to users.
WhatsApp also expands iPad, CarPlay, and desktop features
The latest update includes more than just music sharing.
WhatsApp users can now create an account directly from the iPad app, eliminating the need to link the app to an existing phone during setup. According to the company, this has been one of the most requested features since the dedicated iPad app launched last year.
WhatsApp has also expanded its CarPlay and Android Auto experience. Drivers can now read and reply to messages, place calls, view recent calls, and quickly access favorite chats directly from their vehicle’s infotainment display without reaching for their phone.
For desktop and web users, WhatsApp has introduced Adobe Acrobat integration for PDF files. Users can now open shared PDFs directly within WhatsApp using Adobe Acrobat, while also accessing basic annotation tools such as highlighting and commenting without first downloading the document.
With these additions, WhatsApp continues to expand beyond messaging by improving how users share content, communicate across devices, and interact with documents.
