Dark Mode has finally arrived on YouTube for iOS. Android version of the update is likely to be released soon. Considering how user-friendly this feature is many of you would like to use it straight away, wouldn’t you? Enabling Dark Mode on YouTube on iPhone and Android is a breeze!

Dark Theme is pretty easy on the eyes, and it also prevents them from burning. Besides, it improves battery life on your device as well. Without making much ado, let’s head over to enable it.

How to Turn On Dark Mode on YouTube on iPhone or iPad

Note: Once Dark Theme is available on YouTube for Android, the process will be quite similar to that of the iOS version of the app.

Step #1. Make sure you have updated YouTube to the latest version. To do so, open App Store → Updates → locate YouTube and then hit the Update button.

Once the app is updated, open it on your iOS device.

Step #2. Now, you need to tap on your Profile at the upper-right corner.

Check out the dark interface. Doesn’t it look impressive? It’s time to find some great videos and watch them with absolute fun!

Now, it will invert the colors of the UI, and you will have a black background. Though this feature arrived for desktop last year, it was getting ready for the mobile app for quite some time.

You have enjoyed watching your movie in the dark mode. But now you don’t want it anymore.
