After a brief hiatus, group FaceTime call has been rolled out in the latest update of macOS Mojave much to the delight of Mac users. So, the next you want to bring all of your friends to the party, make the most of this feature. Starting a FaceTime call in macOS Mojave is as straightforward as it’s on iOS 12.
Just like iOS, macOS also lets you make Group FaceTime calls with up to 32 people. In most cases, this number could be more than enough to live up to your demand. And with the option to add people and change settings during the call, your video calling be sheer fun.

How to Start a Group FaceTime Call in macOS Mojave on Mac
Note: Ensure that your Mac is running macOS Mojave 10.14.1.
Step #1. Launch FaceTime app on your Mac.
Step #2. Now, you need to enter phone numbers or emails of your friends.
Step #3. Next, hit the video button to start your FaceTime call.
Step #4. Once you are done, click on the red button to end the call.
As mentioned above, you will be able to add people even during the on-going call.
How to Add a person to a Group FaceTime call on Mac
Step #1. Assuming you are enjoying FaceTime call, click the sidebar button.
Step #2. Now, you need to click on the Plus button to add a person.
Step #3. Next, enter the phone number, contact name or email of your friend.
Step #4. Finally, click on Add.

How to Make A Group FaceTime Call from Messages App on Mac
Step #1. Open Messages app and then head over to the conversation.
Step #2. Now, click on Details at the top right.
Step #3. Next, hit the video or the audio button to start the group FaceTime call in the Messages app.
Now, enjoy the conversation. At any time you want to add more people.
Click on the sidebar button → add button → enter the names of your friends → Add.
Customize Setting During the FaceTime Calls…
During the on-going group calls, you can change some of the basic settings. For instance, you have the option to mute/unmute call, end the call. The sidebar button lets you include people during the running call. There is also an option to go full-screen. To do so, click on the two arrows.
