Dockcase Selfix Case Introduces Rear AMOLED Display for iPhone 17 Pro Selfies

Dockcase has announced its latest accessory, the Selfix case, designed exclusively for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Addressing a common issue for iPhone users, this case includes a small rear display that lets you use the phone’s main camera for selfies and group photos.

A Rear Display That Works Like a Live Viewfinder

The standout feature of the Selfix case is a 1.6 inch circular AMOLED display placed on the back of the phone. It offers a 480 × 480 resolution and supports touch input. The screen mirrors the rear camera view and works as a live viewfinder, allowing you to see proper framing before taking a photo.

This makes solo selfies and group shots easier, without guessing or flipping the phone around. Dockcase says the display feels natural to use and does not affect how the phone feels in hand.

Using the iPhone’s Main Camera for Selfies

The rear camera on the iPhone 17 Pro is far more capable than the front camera. With the Selfix case, users can take selfies using the 48MP main camera. This results in sharper details, better color accuracy, and wider framing.

This is especially useful for group photos or situations where image quality matters more than convenience.

• Dedicated power button to turn off the rear display when not in use

The case works instantly after attachment. No app installation is required, and Dockcase claims the rear display has no noticeable lag.

Launch Plans and Availability

Dockcase plans to launch the Selfix case through a Zackstarter campaign. Early details suggest three color options: Blush Pink, Oat White, and Midnight Black. Pricing has not been announced yet.

If the final product performs as promised, the Selfix case could be a practical upgrade for iPhone 17 Pro users who want better selfies without extra accessories.
