Apple Fitness+ arrives in India on December 15, bringing personalized workouts, real-time metrics, and 12 training categories to iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV users.
Apple is bringing its Fitness+ service to India and 27 more countries starting December 15, marking its biggest expansion since launch. The fitness and wellness platform, introduced five years ago, was previously available in just 21 countries, including the US, UK, Canada, and Germany.
Apple officially confirmed the rollout on December 9, 2025, through a press release (Source: IndiaTVNews). With this move, Apple Fitness+ will now be available in 49 countries and regions worldwide. India joins the list alongside other newly added countries as part of this expansion.
Fitness+ offers 12 different workout categories like:
Each workout session ranges from 5 to 45 minutes. These can be accessed via iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV. Users don’t need an Apple Watch to get started, making it more accessible across devices.
The service includes Custom Plans, a feature that automatically builds a personalized schedule based on your preferred workout types, durations, trainers, and even music genres. This helps users stay consistent and follow a structured routine.
When paired with Apple Watch or AirPods Pro 3, users can view real-time metrics during workouts. Apple also added a new K-pop music genre to its workout playlist, available across all workout types alongside categories like Upbeat Anthems, Hip-Hop, and Latin Grooves.
Users can also compare their performance with others who completed the same workout, adding a gamified edge to the experience.
In India, Apple Fitness+ is priced at:
One subscription supports up to five family members using Family Sharing. Apple is also offering three months free to users who purchase a new eligible Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, AirPods Pro 3, or Powerbeats Pro 2—when bought directly from Apple or an authorized reseller.
With India now included in its biggest rollout yet, Apple is clearly betting big on fitness and wellness growth globally.
