Apple expands AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss Protection in India
Apple has expanded AppleCare+ in India with new flexible plans and added Theft and Loss coverage for iPhone users, offering stronger protection and easier access through the Settings app.

- Theft and Loss arrives for AppleCare Plus with support for two claims every year, giving iPhone owners a more predictable way to handle stolen or missing devices.
- Accidental damage and battery service stay unlimited under AppleCare Plus, and you can reach Apple’s 24 by 7 support whenever you need quick help with your device.
Apple has widened the scope of AppleCare+ in India, introducing fresh monthly and annual plans along with the addition of Theft and Loss coverage for the iPhone. These changes offer users more flexibility in protecting their devices, allowing continuous coverage as long as they prefer.
Kaiann Drance, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide iPhone Product Marketing, said:
“AppleCare aims to give customers peace of mind by ensuring expert support and reliable protection”. She added that “the latest update in India makes it easier and more affordable to access Apple’s most complete coverage for iPhone.”
Protection Against Theft and Loss for iPhone Owners
With the newly included Theft and Loss coverage, the plan now accommodates up to two theft or loss claims annually. Besides this added layer of security, subscribers still get all the usual perks of AppleCare+, including unlimited accidental damage repairs using Apple parts, battery replacements, and 24/7 priority support.
User-Friendly Purchase Options
The available AppleCare+ plans can be viewed and purchased right from the Settings app on iPhones, iPads, or Macs. Coverage activates instantly, whether opting for the monthly or annual plan, and can be obtained through Apple Stores or authorized service providers. Pricing begins at INR 799.
