Last day, I found App Store Icon missing on my iPhone. At first, I couldn't believe what was happening on my iOS device. But just when I was about to unleash my anger, I thought of trying to try out some tricks.

How to Fix App Store Icon Missing on iPhone and iPad

While using your iPhone, you may have accidentally restricted the access to App Store on your device. So, first ensure, the app is not bound by Restrictions.

Step #1. Launch Settings app on your iOS device → Tap on General.

Step #2. Now, tap on Restrictions.

Step #3. Next, you have to enter your Restrictions passcode.

Step #4. Now, make sure the switch next to Installing Apps is ON. If in case, it's Off turn in On.

Reset Home Screen Layout

In case you hadn't restricted App Store and still, it's not available on your device, try resetting Home Screen Layout.

On your iDevice, Go to Settings → General → scroll down and tap on Reset → Reset Home Screen Layout.

If no luck yet, try resetting iPhone/iPad to factory default. One thing you should know that it will remove all the login details, and Wi-Fi passwords but your data, as well as media, will remain safe.

Open Settings app on your iOS device → General → Reset → tap on Reset All Settings and confirm.

Once your device has restarted, search for the App Store. It would most likely return to your device.

Software Update

In most cases, you may not have to come this far. But just in case you haven't got success as yet, update your device to the latest iOS version.

Besides, it's always advisable to keep iOS device updated to ensure it's more secure and able to run smoothly.

Open Settings app → General → Software Update.
