Apple’s Special Edition AirPods 5 costs ₹17,900 in India, the same as the regular AirPods 5 with Wireless Charging Case. That means the festive design doesn’t add to the bill. If you were already going to buy that case, pick this one. If you still need to decide between the base model and the case, the AirPods 5 breakdown covers what the case adds.
Underneath, it’s the same AirPods 5 with Wireless Charging Case. The real difference is a festive engraving on the case. Apple’s India page calls it “festive engraving” and doesn’t say more. Coverage describes a rangoli-style pattern wrapped around a heart-eyes emoji, which matches the product image Apple published. It’s a small, playful touch on something most people carry every day.
The sale runs from October 11 to November 11, 2026, or until supplies last. You can buy it at Apple Store locations, on the Apple Store online, or by phone. The page lists EMI from ₹1,533 a month, and three months of Apple Music free for new subscribers, then ₹139 a month.
Two units, no stacking, and narrower card offers
You can buy up to two pairs per customer. The offer can’t be combined with other AirPods offers, and it doesn’t work with Apple’s business, education, or corporate employee purchase plans.
Card deals come with conditions. No Cost EMI runs on 3, 6, 9, and 12-month plans with qualifying cards, but AirPods are limited to the 3- and 6-month plans. Instant cashback only works with American Express, Axis Bank, and ICICI Bank cards, on a transaction of at least ₹10,001, and it’s capped at two orders in any rolling 90-day window. If you’re paying with another card, none of that applies. Business customers don’t qualify for either card offer.
Replacements may not keep the design
Apple says it may replace or repair the special edition with the standard AirPods 5 with Wireless Charging Case, “subject to supply.” That’s the detail to read before buying. If you’re paying for the engraving, a replacement may not carry it.
Before you book a repair, check the battery levels. A low reading on its own is not a fault, and a quick check can save a trip. If a bud is missing rather than broken, the Find My steps come first.
Free art sessions, in selected countries
Coverage also describes free digital art workshops from October 14 to November 9. Artist Arushi Kathuria teaches participants to draw rangoli-style patterns in Procreate on an iPad, using a brush meant to mimic colored powder. The sessions run in India and in selected locations in the United States, Canada, Malaysia, and Singapore. Apple’s India product page doesn’t mention them, so check Apple’s event listings before you plan around one.
If you already wanted the AirPods 5 with the charging case, the Diwali design is a nice extra at no added cost. If you didn’t, a festive engraving isn’t a reason to buy them.
