Apple is bringing seven new immersive films to Vision Pro, covering music, culture, sports, and wildlife—crafted to make you feel inside the action.
Apple is broadening its Immersive Video offerings for the Vision Pro, introducing a preview of seven upcoming films slated for release over the next few months. The standout feature of the Vision Pro headset is its ability to place viewers in 180-degree ultra-realistic environments that traditional screens can’t match. This announcement coincides with the launch of Tour De Force, a documentary centered on MotoGP, and a new installment of Wild Life focusing on orangutans.
The forthcoming titles cover a range from music and culture to extreme sports and wildlife. Each film is crafted to utilize Vision Pro’s high-resolution display and Apple Spatial Audio to the fullest extent.
The majority of these new films are created by third-party producers such as the BBC, CNN, HYBE, and Red Bull, signifying Apple’s move to welcome more creators to its Immersive Video realm. They are some of the first projects shot using Blackmagic Design’s URSA Cine Immersive camera, edited in DaVinci Resolve Studio on a Mac. Apple describes this evolution as a step into a new cinematic age, bringing theater-quality visuals and sound directly to Vision Pro users.
In addition to the previews, Apple has rolled out Tour De Force, spotlighting MotoGP rider Johann Zarco’s dramatic win at Le Mans, and a new Wild Life installment featuring orangutans. More Apple-produced content, including further episodes of the travel aerial series Elevated, will follow.
Apple Vision Pro is available in various countries including the U.S., UK, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, and the UAE. Customers can arrange for complimentary demonstrations online, with extended in-store previews of Tour De Force set for select Apple locations in October.
These immersive films can be accessed via the Apple TV app, with some available at no extra cost. Apple TV+ is priced at $12.99 per month in the U.S., offering a seven-day trial period and three free months for eligible new device purchasers.
