How to Sync Google Calendar with iPhone and iPad

If you are a Google Calendar user, you can simply download the Google Calendar app from the App Store, sign in, and have everything there. Or, you can opt to sync Google Calendar with iPhone and iPad. This will merge it with the inbuilt iOS Calendar app. This allows you to have the best of both worlds and see all your events conveniently in a single app. So let’s check out the steps involved

Step #1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

Step #2. Tap on Passwords & Accounts.

Else, tap on Add Account, and proceed to add a Gmail account to your iOS device.

Step #4. Turn on the toggle for Calendars.

Step #6. Tap on Sync and make sure All Events is selected.

From here, you may choose to see all calendars by ticking everything you see there. Or, you may select a few and view the events accordingly. Tap on Done at last.

Set Gmail as Default Calendar in Calendar App on iPhoneFrom now on, when you add an event, you may tap on Calendar and choose to create it in Google Calendar. You do not need this if you have already set it as the default calendar (step 7 above).
