How to Enable/Disable YouTube Notifications on iPhone and iPad

How to Enable/Disable YouTube Notifications on iPhone or iPad

There are different ways to turn ON YouTube notifications. If you have just installed the YouTube app, then first you will need to log in with your Gmail ID and Password. Once you have logged in, YouTube will show a pop-up asking for notifications. Just tap on TURN ON to enable notifications.

Step #1. Launch Settings app from home screen → Tap on Notifications.

Step #2. Tap on YouTube.

Step #3. Just toggle ON Allow Notifications option.

Alternatively, instead of going to Notifications inside settings, you can scroll all the way to bottom in Settings menu and tap on YouTube followed by Notifications, then toggle ON “Allow Notifications“.

This method won’t work, if you have disabled YouTube notifications in Settings. So before proceeding with this process, enable notifications from Settings app.

Step #1. Launch the YouTube app from home screen.

Step #2. Now tap on the three vertical dots (Settings), located at the top-right side of the screen.

Step #3. From the list of Settings menu, tap on Notifications.

Step #4. Now tap on Turn On.

Step #5. You’ll get the pop-up asking for confirmation, tap on TURN ON to enable YouTube notifications.
