    Apple has announced the finalists for the 2026 Apple Design Awards ahead of this year’s WWDC 2026, which begins on June 8.

    Every year, Apple highlights apps and games that stand out for innovation, design, technical achievement, inclusivity, interaction, and visual quality across the App Store ecosystem.

    This year’s finalists include a mix of indie apps, AI-powered tools, accessibility-focused experiences, creative utilities, and major games.

    The awards are split into multiple categories, with one app and one game selected as winners in each category during WWDC.

    Delight and Fun

    • Apps: Guitar Wiz, Hearing Buddy, Structured

    Winners will be announced during WWDC 2026

    Apple will announce the winners during WWDC 2026 next month. Winning teams will receive a physical Apple Design Award along with Apple hardware to support future app and game development.

    The finalists also offer an early look at the types of experiences Apple is currently prioritizing across the App Store, including AI-powered creativity tools, accessibility-focused apps, immersive visuals, and more interactive gaming experiences.

    The awards have become one of Apple’s biggest annual showcases for standout app experiences across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and Vision Pro.
