As Apple Watch has merely 8GB of internal storage, you would have to keep it cleaned up; making sure you don’t install too many apps on it. Moreover, the tiny size of the Apple Watch Home screen wouldn’t look nice if you have not organized apps properly on it.
You can delete unnecessary apps to prevent your Watch from being cluttered for space. In addition, you can also hide some of the apps if you don’t want to remove them completely. Even if you delete an app from your Apple Watch, it remains on your iPhone unless you decide to remove it from iPhone too. Therefore, you don’t need to worry about losing it completely.
These two little tricks can be very effective in keeping your watch fine tuned. Look forward to finding out how you can do it? Let’s move ahead!
How to Delete Apps on Your Apple Watch
Step #1. Click the Digital Crown to go to Apple Watch Home screen, if you are not already there.
Step #2. Next up, you will need to press and hold on the app icon which you want to delete.
Step #3. App icon will start to wiggle and a tiny x will appear on its left side. Tap on “x” to remove it
Step #4. Now, tap on Delete App in the popup to confirm.
That’s it! You can’t remove stock apps like, Photos, Maps etc.
How to Hide Apps via Apple Watch App With iPhone
You can hide specific apps in order to keep your Apple Watch Home screen organized. It’s just as easy.
