Apple teased Powerbeats Fit, a fitness-focused follow-up to Beats Fit Pro. Launching fall 2025, they promise the same secure fit plus potential upgrades in sound, design, and workout tracking.
Apple just dropped a blink-and-you-miss-it teaser for its next Beats earbuds: Powerbeats Fit. And from the looks of it, they’re dialing straight into the workout crowd again. The clip is short, flashy, and stamped with the tagline “fit for every move.”
Details are scarce, but the teaser makes it clear these earbuds are meant to follow up on the popular Beats Fit Pro that debuted back in 2021.
Apple says Powerbeats Fit are landing in fall 2025, which technically kicks off September 22. That timing makes it likely they’ll appear shortly after Apple’s iPhone event scheduled for September 9.
Design-wise, they look… familiar. You’ve got that compact in-ear shape and the same silicone wingtip setup that basically locks the buds into your ears like glue.
The Beats Fit Pro carved out a niche as the fitness-friendly alternative to AirPods Pro.
I lived in my Beats Fit Pro during 2022, running, lifting, even mowing the lawn, and those wingtips never failed me. This model also echoes the same secure-fit style.
They had ANC, Transparency mode, and Adaptive EQ, which are rare features on fitness-related earbuds.
Apple launched the Powerbeats Pro 2 earlier this year with heart rate monitoring capabilities, a slimmer design and Apple’s H2 audio chip, which improved sound and microphone performance. If Apple brings even some of those features into the Powerbeats Fit, it could make these the go-to earbuds for athletes who want more than just music during workouts.
Apple’s approach with Beats has always been different from AirPods. While AirPods Pro aim for universal appeal, commuting, working, or flying. Beats focus on sports and fitness, with bolder looks and more experimental features. Apple can take risks with Beats without touching the mainstream AirPods formula. That’s why Beats models often ship with health-tracking or design changes before AirPods ever do.
For now, Apple’s teaser leaves more questions than answers. Will the Powerbeats Fit just be a refreshed design, or a true upgrade with new health and audio features? We will have to wait and see. Based on history, though, we can expect incremental updates that build on what worked in the Beats Fit Pro.
Either way, fitness enthusiasts who loved the stability of wingtip earbuds now have a new pair to watch for this fall.
