Apple Store is coming soon to Koregaon Park - Get ready for the ultimate Apple experience right in your city!
Apple is preparing to open its next retail location in India, this time in Pune’s Koregaon Park. The new store will welcome its first visitors on Thursday, September 4, at 1:00 p.m. local time.
The Koregaon Park store will be Apple’s fourth official retail outlet in the country and its second in Maharashtra. Apple currently operates two stores, one in Delhi and another in Mumbai, with a third location scheduled to debut in Bengaluru’s Hebbal district on September 2. Pune’s addition makes it the fastest sequence of store openings Apple has attempted in India to date.`
The company confirmed the launch with a localized message directed at the city’s residents:
Namaskar, Pune. The first Apple Store in the city opens its doors soon. We can’t wait to see your vibrant ideas come to life at Apple Koregaon Park.
The messaging echoes Apple’s pattern of tailoring its announcements to each region, though it stops short of offering further details on what visitors can expect inside the store.
For the Pune launch, Apple is once again highlighting a decorative logo, this time featuring a peacock-feather pattern. Interestingly, it is the exact same motif the company used for its upcoming Bengaluru Hebbal store. While Apple often designs unique artwork tied to each location, reusing the visual here suggests a more streamlined rollout across multiple openings.
Apple’s direct-to-consumer retail strategy in India is still relatively new. The company first entered the market in 2020 with the launch of the Apple Online Store. It wasn’t until 2023 that Apple opened its first physical locations, starting with flagships in Mumbai and New Delhi.
The rapid expansion into Bengaluru and Pune within the same week signals Apple’s growing focus on India as one of its most important emerging markets. Whether these stores will see the same heavy footfall as the Mumbai and Delhi openings remains to be seen, but the push is clearly designed to strengthen Apple’s visibility and direct engagement with Indian customers.
