How to Get Apple News App Outside US on Your iPhone or iPad

Ever since Apple announced the inclusion of the News app, every news enthusiast was keen to open and explore this app. But hold it! Apple made this app available in a select few countries. This means, if anybody, who is not from the US or UK, can’t use News app on his iPhone.

We have found a way to this issue. All you need to do is follow a very simple procedure mentioned below.

How to Get Apple News App Outside US

Step #1. Launch Settings app on your iPhone → Tap on General.

Step #2. Scroll down and tap on Language & Region option.

Step #3. Tap on Region from under REGION FORMATS.

Step #4. Tap on the United States from the list of countries and then tap on Done.

A menu will swipe up from the bottom. You will see two options: Change to English (United States) and Keep “Language” (Your Existing Country).

Step #5. Tap on Change to English (United States).

For a few seconds, your iPhone will go blank; after this, your phone will brighten up. You will be on the screen of Language & Region, where Region will be selected as the United States.

Now go to your home screen and check all apps; you can see the News app along with other apps. If in case, you don’t see News app, you can restart your iPhone and check again. News app will appear on your iPhone.

Note: Please note that if you change the Language & Region back to your home country, the News app will disappear from your iPhone/iPad. Also note that once you select the US in Language & Region, your iPhone or iPad will show the US currency.
