Here’s what we know so far.
New iPad Design
Apple is finally set to bring a new design to the iPad 10th-generation if rumors are to be believed. We could see flatter edges and a vertical rear camera bump similar to iPhone X.
A14 Bionic chip
Sources have revealed that Apple could add A14 Bionic chip to the new entry-level iPad compared to the current A13 chipset. A bump in RAM is also expected, as per experts.
USB-C port
One of the biggest features expected in the new 10th-gen iPad has a USB-C port. The entry-level iPad is the only iPad with a Lightning port as of now, and it could change this year for good.
5G
While every other iPad model except the entry-level iPad comes with 5G support, the current 9th gen iPad still relies on LTE in the cellular model. This year, Apple could bring 5G to the new iPad.
Display
As rumors indicate, Apple has no plans to add a Liquid Retina Display to the new iPad as it would significantly increase the price. We’ll see a display with thick bezels, per sources.
Price
The current 9th-gen iPad retails at $329. However, the new iPad could be expensive due to added features like 5G, a USB-C port, and an upgraded camera.
