After revealing dummy photos of 2018 iPhones, Benjamin Geskin shows us videos of future iPhones. Yesterday, perhaps the concept designer was testing our patience as millions of Apple fans wanted to see the video of their favorite product.
Like photos, the videos also showcase mockups of the devices. However, what leads us to trust the reports is schematic diagram from sources in Apple’s supply chain.
2018 iPhones Video Released
From the videos, it is quite understandable that Apple is likely to launch three iPhones in the fall this year. The three phones include 6.1-inch LCD iPhone, which is Apple’s affordable iPhone.
The remaining two phones are high-end iPhone X Plus with OLED display and a sequel of iPhone X. It is expected that Apple will keep the dimensions of iPhone X in its sequel this year.
Notably, Apple is not going to ditch its celebrated Face ID as all the three iPhone models of this year will reportedly have face recognition technology, along with stronger battery life.
Both high-end Apple phones will have thinner bezels and infinite or near-infinite display. But infinite display may not be the feature of LCD iPhone as the bezel is expected to be slightly thicker than its OLED counterparts.
Rumors of 2018 iPhones have been doing rounds for a long time. The most interesting part of the gossips is the colors of future iPhones. Industry insiders believe that iPhone 2018 models may arrive in vibrant colors.
A source close to the Apple revealed earlier that Apple is not planning to launch its 6.1-inch 2018 iPhone in red color. Interestingly, a reputed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that a colorful range of 2018 iPhones might include gold, grey, white, blue, red and orange.
Apple has never launched three iPhone models simultaneously. This year, the company seems to have changed its policy. Let me remind you that Apple’s iPhone X didn’t make the grade last year. Experts cited high price as the main reason; many Apple fans preferred iPhone 8 Plus over this “anniversary gift.”
Signing off…
Apple’s experience with iPhone X was not so good as the company was in the doldrums after receiving the sales figures for iPhone X. This year, Apple is pinning its hopes on 6.1-inch LCD iPhone, which may get stupendous welcome upon release.
