At today’s media event, iPhone 7/7 Plus and the brand new Apple Watch Series 2 hogged all the limelight. And rightly so as they have got a lot of impressive features to stake their claims of being the most popular device. However, select iPad models have been updated as well; albeit without any fuss.

The tech giant has issued some minor updates to select iPad models. The base storage of all the iPads has been increased from 16GB to 32GB.

Revised iPad Prices

The change could well be owing to the fact that there is no more 16GB entry level variant for the just announced iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.

The tablets which entry level storage has been changed to 32GB are iPad mini 2, iPad mini 4, and the iPad Air 2.

Nevertheless, the prices of all of these models will stay at their current prices.

Revised iPad Pricing and Storage Options

Moreover, the Cupertino-based company has lowered the pricing on top-tier storage options for both iPad Pro models, slashing $50 off 128GB versions and $100 off 128GB respectively. Some of the configurations as well as pricing for older iPads have been changed as well.
