Having played Pokémon Go a lot on my iPhone, I eagerly waited for the augmented reality game to arrive on the Watch. There are a couple of issues like crashing and battery draining that I faced while playing the game. Following are the tricks that worked for me in fixing these problems.

Is Pokémon Go Up to Date?
Always make sure you have the latest version of the app running on your iPhone. At times, you can get rid of some problems just by updating an app. Check out if there is any update available for the game. If yes, update it to the latest version.

Does Pokémon Go for Apple Watch fail to sync data? Don’t worry as you are not alone to have experienced this issue.
Turning on/off Airplane mode both on iPhone and Watch is one of the simplest tricks you can try to fix the syncing problem.
Step #1. Swipe up from the bottom of your iPhone screen to access Control Center.
Step #2. Now, tap on Airplane Mode button to enable it.
On your Apple Watch
Step #3. Swipe up from the bottom bezel on your Apple Watch face.
Step #4. Tap on Airplane Mode button to turn it on.
Step #5. Now, wait for a few minutes, then disable Airplane Mode both on your watch and phone.
Force Quit the Pokémon Go Both on iPhone and Apple Watch
Force quit the app on both the devices and launch it again. It can fix some minor issues like crashing or freezing of the app.
On iPhone
Step #1. Double press the Home button on your iPhone.
Step #2. Swipe up the app card to close the app.
On Apple Watch
Step #1. Open Pokémon Go app for Apple Watch.
Step #2. Then, press and hold down the Side Button until you see Power Off screen.
Step #3. Now, press and hold down the Digital Crown.
Next, wait for some time and then relaunch the game on your phone and the watch.
Reboot iPhone and Watch
Many a time, rebooting can let you resolve issues connection, crashing, freezing or even battery draining.
- Press and hold the power ON/OFF and volume down buttons on iPhone 7 to reboot your smartphone. On iPhone 6s or earlier, you need to press and hold the Home button and power ON/OFF buttons at once.
- On Apple Watch, press and hold the Digital Crown and Side Button at once to reboot.
Reinstall Pokémon Go on Watch
Just in case, the game app isn’t working at its very best, you need to delete it and reinstall it again.
Step #1. Launch Watch app on your iPhone.
Step #2. Next, you need to scroll down and tap on Pokémon Go.
Step #3. Now, turn off the switch next to Show App on Apple Watch.
Step #4. Once the app gets uninstalled from your Watch, wait for a few minutes. Then, turn on the Show App on Apple Watch switch.
Unpair Your Apple Watch with iPhone and Pair It Again
If the problem hasn’t been resolved as yet, unpair the Watch with iPhone and pair it again. The fresh pairing can get the job done for you.
