Having played Pokémon Go a lot on my iPhone, I eagerly waited for the augmented reality game to arrive on the Watch. There are a couple of issues like crashing and battery draining that I faced while playing the game. Following are the tricks that worked for me in fixing these problems.

Is Pokémon Go Up to Date?

Always make sure you have the latest version of the app running on your iPhone. At times, you can get rid of some problems just by updating an app. Check out if there is any update available for the game. If yes, update it to the latest version.

Step #1. Swipe up from the bottom of your iPhone screen to access Control Center.

Next, wait for some time and then relaunch the game on your phone and the watch.

Reboot iPhone and Watch

Many a time, rebooting can let you resolve issues connection, crashing, freezing or even battery draining.

  • Press and hold the power ON/OFF and volume down buttons on iPhone 7 to reboot your smartphone. On iPhone 6s or earlier, you need to press and hold the Home button and power ON/OFF buttons at once.
  • On Apple Watch, press and hold the Digital Crown and Side Button at once to reboot.

Reinstall Pokémon Go on Watch

Just in case, the game app isn’t working at its very best, you need to delete it and reinstall it again.

Step #1. Launch Watch app on your iPhone.

Step #2. Next, you need to scroll down and tap on Pokémon Go.
